The California Clean Off-Road Equipment Voucher Incentive Project (CORE) is a $273 million voucher incentive project to encourage California off-road equipment users to purchase or lease currently commercialized zero-emission off-road equipment, including ETHERO’s exclusive inventory of Lonestar Specialty Vehicles terminal tractors.
This streamlined voucher incentive project helps offset the higher cost of zero-emission technology with a point-of-sale discount. There is no scrappage requirement, and additional funding is available for charging and fueling infrastructure and for equipment deployed in disadvantaged communities.
“This program has the potential to be a game-changer for California fleet owners who want to electrify their home-base operations, starting with the Lonestar SV,” said Dave Rogers, director of ETHERO’s electric truck division. “We’re always looking for more ways to meet the unique needs of each of our customers, and the CORE program is another door we’re happy to open for anyone taking that first step in their transition to becoming zero emissions, or just reducing their footprint in a way that makes sense for them.”
